For Parents / Guardians

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services.

01Who We Are

SK Home Tutors is a local tutoring facilitator based in Faridabad. We connect parents and students with independent home tutors. We are not a school, coaching centre, or employer of tutors. Tutors work as independent professionals. We have been serving through local and relation-based contacts since 2021 and started full formal operations in 2025.

02Our Role

We help you find suitable tutors based on your requirements (class, subject, location, timing).
We conduct basic verification of tutors (ID, qualification, experience) before introduction.
We arrange a free demo class wherever possible.
After introduction, the teaching arrangement continues under our coordination for the initial period as mentioned below.

03Fees & Payment Policy

Payment is always taken in advance.
First month’s tuition fee must be paid to SK Home Tutors.
From the 2nd month onwards, payment will be made directly to the tutor.
SK Home Tutors remains responsible for the arrangement and coordination up to 4 months. This period helps you understand the tutor well.
After 4 months, the arrangement becomes completely between you and the tutor.

04Important Disclaimers

We verify documents and experience to a reasonable extent, but we cannot guarantee the character, behaviour, or future conduct of any tutor.
SK Home Tutors is not responsible for any misconduct, negligence, accident, dispute, or incident that may occur between the tutor, student, or family after the introduction.
Final responsibility for the safety and well-being of the student during classes lies with the parent/guardian and the tutor.

05Safety & Respect Recommendation

Tutors’ respect and safety at your home is very important to us. Please give them a warm and lovable welcome. We strongly recommend that a parent or responsible adult remains present (or nearby) during classes, especially for younger children and for classes with a tutor of the opposite gender.

06Demo Class

A free demo class may be arranged. After the demo, you are free to continue or not continue with the tutor. There is no obligation.

07Issue Resolution

If any issue arises, please first consult SK Home Tutors. We will try our best to solve the problem within our family (parents, tutors and SK Home Tutors). If the issue still remains unresolved, it may be taken further as per law. However, such situations rarely happen.

08Our Commitment

SK Home Tutors will always welcome you. We believe parents, tutors and SK Home Tutors work like a family. Together we create a positive and respectful learning environment for the student.

09Limitation of Liability

SK Home Tutors, its owner, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from the tutoring services or the conduct of any tutor introduced by us.

10Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of SK Home Tutors, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with the tuition arrangement through us.

For Tutors

Tutor Agreement & Code of Conduct

Please read this agreement carefully before registering with us.

01Nature of Relationship

You are an independent tutor (not an employee, partner, or agent of SK Home Tutors). SK Home Tutors only connects you with parents/students. You are solely responsible for your teaching, conduct, and any issues that arise during or after classes.

02Registration & Documents (Mandatory)

Registration with SK Home Tutors is mandatory for providing home tuition through us.
You must submit any valid Government Photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport, etc.).
If you are submitting Aadhaar, please send only a masked Aadhaar or show only the last 4 digits.
As per the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 and related guidelines issued in 2017, it is not permissible to demand or store full Aadhaar number without proper authority. We strictly follow this law.
You confirm that all information and documents provided by you are true and correct.
Providing false information may lead to immediate permanent removal from our network.

03Code of Conduct

Be serious and professional about teaching.
Behave respectfully with students, parents, and family members at all times.
Never engage in any form of inappropriate behaviour, physical contact, or communication with students.
Do not take classes if no adult is present at home when the student is a minor (strongly recommended).
Do not share personal contact details of students/parents with others or misuse any information.
Do not make any guarantee of marks, ranks, or results.
Maintain punctuality and inform the parent in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a class.
Do not involve yourself in any financial dealing beyond the agreed tuition fees.

04Special Guidelines for Female Tutors

For safety and transparency:

Always remain active and professional on the first day / trial class.
Inform the parents clearly about the class – where you are going and with whom you will meet.
All such communication and safety precautions are your responsibility.
SK Home Tutors is not responsible for any personal safety or communication issues during travel or classes.

05Payment Terms

SK Home Tutors charges 50% of the first month’s tuition fee as a one-time service charge.
This amount helps us maintain and run the platform smoothly.
From the 2nd month onwards, you will receive 100% of the tuition fee directly from the parents.
SK Home Tutors does not collect or deduct any amount from the 2nd month onwards.

06Your Responsibilities

You are fully responsible for your own conduct, teaching quality, safety practices, and any claim or complaint that may arise from your interaction with the student or family. SK Home Tutors shall not be liable for any act or omission on your part.

07Family Culture

We believe that parents, tutors and SK Home Tutors work like a family. We expect mutual respect, cooperation and professional behaviour from everyone so that students get the best learning environment.

08Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SK Home Tutors, its owner, and representatives from any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising out of your conduct, teaching, or breach of this agreement.

09Termination

SK Home Tutors reserves the right to stop sending you students or remove you from the network at any time in case of complaint, misconduct, or violation of this Code of Conduct, without any prior notice or compensation.

10Acceptance of Terms

By registering with SK Home Tutors and using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Tutor Agreement & Code of Conduct. Only after acceptance of these terms will student details be shared with you.
